While wedding photography is such an important part of the work we do, unfortunately, time only allows us to work with a limited number of couples per year. The couples who engage us are most often looking for a photographer that will be receptive to what is unique about them, their plans, their guests and the events that will unfold on the day.
Drawing from the combined creative and technical experience of his internationally awarded portrait, editorial and fashion photography, Ross brings a fresh approach to the weddings he shoots, and a calming ability to quietly and confidently navigate through all the planned and unexpected moments of the day; culminating in a collection of beautiful, engaging images and a positive experience for couples and guests alike.
A photojournalistic approach is very much at the core of Ross’ wedding photography style, which emphasises natural, candid and un-posed photographs. Additionally, careful guidance is provided where required resulting in images that align with the relaxed and honest feel that has become our signature. While this style of photography is most often requested to document the emotions, events and sense of celebration of the wedding, formal photographs are always accommodated with care and finesse.
Detailed planning, high-end post-production and professional retouching is provided as standard, with packages individually tailored to each couple’s wishes.
Like all finished art products created by Natural Family Photography, our wedding albums are individually-designed and hand-produced to stand the test of time – both physically and aesthetically – and are the ultimate in quality and style.
Locally, we service Melbourne and beyond, including the Yarra Valley, Dandenongs, Mornington Peninsula and country Victoria. Ross is available for travel and destination weddings outside of Victoria, with wedding commissions accepted worldwide, and we can arrange delivery of prints, albums and finished pieces nationally and internationally.
